LYRICS: btoy: I was just walkin’ to the kitchen for some Raisin Bran, close the cupboard door, but it slammed on my hand. I want to cry out, but I gotta be a man, so I keep it to myself as best as I can. I turn and try to walk away, but as I do I hear somebody say, “You promised me six days from Sunday you would have the cash to pay.” And then I remembered the debt I owed to the man who had no neck. You see, I took out a loan over the phone just to buy a ticket to see Star Trek. T’was a sight to see, not as good as Serenity, but anything by Abrams or Joss Whedon seems to satisfy me. They know how to tell a story, long-running shows, but they never get boring. Characters with character is the deal that sealed it for me. But I digress, I was caught in a bit of a mess. With my spree at the theater I had a single dollar left. Now I couldn’t pay him, might have to delay him, maybe run away and never look back. So the lesson to learn is only spend what you earned, cause you don’t want to get burned, kid And that’s just a fact. ctoy: Let me tell you bout what happened to me last week, it was last week, I got slapped on the left cheek. I was at the food court eating sushi and french fries, just like “That Thing You Do …
I’ve been married 8 years and my wife is about as interested in having sex with me as she is eating cardboard. She recently had a Mirena IUD put in, and I honestly don’t know if it’s the hormones or what..but she has become absolutely sexless. I take her out for dinner, even (sometimes) when she drinks, get a couple of glasses of wine in her–tell her I’m going to get her home and take advantage of her. And when we get home she goes straight to sleep. Even when I try to make an effort to get it on, she immediately withdrawls with no signs of interest. I asked her once why we never have sex anymore and she simply replies, "Yeah, I’m a bad wife."
I’m screaming horny as of late and ‘taking care of myself’ really is getting old. I’m thinking about picking up some action on the side. I do love my wife, but good hell…I’m a red-blooded man who needs some female attention. I even tell her I’m going to the strip clubs with my friends, and she’s like "Have fun." Almost like she just doesn’t care. If she doesn’t come around, It’s time to explore and I personally won’t feel guilty one bit. Is that wrong? For someone in my situation?
She’s 29. Has no kids. Never been pregnant.
No sugar coating it here. I don’t believe I need AA meetings, but would like to know if my drinkling could be considered exessive. I typically drink 1-2 glasses of wine every other night. I’ll go a few days without any, then share a bottle with my wife, of which I drink 3/4 of it. So in all, I’m consuming about 5-10 glasses of red wine per week. Is this too much? Some articles say it is even healthy, but judging how I feel sort of crappy in the morning after even just two small glasses, I don’t buy that.
I would pay more now and then, if you think there is a perfect choice. I know it is preference, but… give me suggestions. I prefer something that does not overwhelm me upon sniffing – like not TOO alcoholicy. I gravitate toward the French wines – they just interest me. I don’t tend to like the German wines.
I have always liked various Red Wines and just bought a pair of cool glasses on sale but they are supposed to be best for Pinot. So, i may pose another question for other varieties, but here i specifically hope to find PINOT NOIR wines that i should try – and if they are under then – GREAT!
Thank you very much for your input – i will try as many suggestions as i can afford in search of a favorite.
I am turning 21 this November, and while this means I don’t have a long history with or knowledge of wine consumption and storage, I have greatly enjoyed the few glasses I’ve had with family friends and relatives over the past few years. Because I am not a huge partier, I’d like to commemorate my turning 21 by purchasing a bottle of wine (preferably red) on that day, then save it for a few years to finally open on another birthday. I have no specific plan, I just like the idea of buying a bottle of wine on my 21st and drinking it on some future birthday, as soon as the next year or as late as 50.
Being only 20 I obviously don’t have the grandest budget for this, but I was hoping someone would have a few bottles or vintages I should look into–or just a particular type of wine that is always likely to improve with moderate aging.
Thanks so much!
I have a huge bottle of Blush red wine that I bought yesterday, only had 2 glasses and dont plan to have anymore for prob like a few months..I know wine gets better with age, but does that rule still stand when its in the fridge???
Hello, I just bought Resvinatol Complete, The red wine alternative to take for my health. It looks really healthy, but I am confused about something. It says to take 1 ounce of it a day to get the health benefit that so many glasses of wine like maybe 150 or more or less can give you. I don’t drink alcohol and I never will, but I decided to try this out for my health because it does not have alcohol. . My question is, since I don’t think 1 ounce is a whole lot, I asked the pharmacist as sam’s club, where I bought it, if I could maybe take a little more then 1 ounce and he said it was okay. I looked at all the ingredients in it and it doesn’t have a whole lot of calories and It doesn’t say anything about it having a whole bunch of sugar if it does have any which I am not sure it does, but my question is, is the pharmacist right, would I be able to drink more then 1 ounce, since it has low calories and a whole bunch of antioxidants in it? if the answer is yes, then can I drink a whole lot or is there a max I can drink of that stuff a day? I don’t see why there would be a limit on how much you can drink if it is so healthy for you. and if the answer to my question is no, then why can’t I and for what reason, and also, why would the pharmacist where I bought it say that I could? Could someone please explain? All it has is a whole bunch of antioxidants and it is not a supplement drink either.
Once again, it has a whole bunch of antioxidants and it is not a supplement drink of any kind. 14 calories and as far as I know, no sugar.

I SHOULD NOT LEAVE OUT NAPA VALLEY OF COURSE – they are good for Pinot, right? Thanks. Sorry.
Thanks to all my friends for this input! Yeah, if good Pinot costs and up, so be it, cuz i don’t drink that much or that often. I can spring for a bit more. My main concern IS taste. To me it is a waste if you buy a wine for ten bucks less but it tastes like lighter fluid to you. So, all these suggestions are great! Thanks so much.
i drank 5 glasses of red wine (cabernet, syrah, merlot, zinfandel, pinot noir) then went out to a club and drank 4 grey goose and cranberry and 4 shots of grey goose. and please don’t say "hair of the dog."
