My Dr. told me to start drinking 6-8 ounces of red wine per day. I have never drank alcohol. I went to a liquor store and they told me to get cabernet sauvignon. I have tried to drink it and it is horrendous to me. Is there a better tasting wine that has ALL the same health benefits? I’m sorry to be so clueless. After 6 hours I still have 4 ounces of an 8 ounce glass and it just tastes like rotten grapes to me. No class I guess.

I went to a restaurant a while back and purchased a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon- Stratton Lummis (Napa Valley, CA 2008), which both my date and I really enjoyed. I’m taking my date on a picnic and want to surprise her with a bottle of wine, but I’m not sure what to buy. I would like a wine similar to the Cabernet Sauvignon- Stratton Lummis wine I drank, yet understandably not the same exact bottle.
