Is there anything I can do to my red wine to give it a sweeter taste? I’ve experienced that most red wines are tart, or bitter. So is there something I can add or mix it with?

I generally don’t like the harsh taste of red wines, but I would like to find one that I like. I love fruity white Zinfandel like the Arbor Strawberry White Zin, and I like a good champagne. What is a red wine that would have a similar type of taste?

It seems to me that white wines usually have a sweeter taste while red wine are bold and bitter. Are there any out there that are sweet and almost taste like a berry juice? Also can anyone recommend me a variety of different red wines that are perfec to age? And by aging a red wine does it become sweeter?

What red wines taste good but cheap? I don’t really know the difference between the expensive red wine and cheap red wine.

You hear of red wines over 100 years old but if I got a bottle from my local store and kept it even for a couple of years it’d go bad. Why?

I would pay more now and then, if you think there is a perfect choice. I know it is preference, but… give me suggestions. I prefer something that does not overwhelm me upon sniffing – like not TOO alcoholicy. I gravitate toward the French wines – they just interest me. I don’t tend to like the German wines.
I have always liked various Red Wines and just bought a pair of cool glasses on sale but they are supposed to be best for Pinot. So, i may pose another question for other varieties, but here i specifically hope to find PINOT NOIR wines that i should try – and if they are under then – GREAT!
Thank you very much for your input – i will try as many suggestions as i can afford in search of a favorite.

I am trying to purchase a wine cooler for my dad for Father’s Day. I have looked at every size, brand, model you can think of, but I’m still not sure which is best. I think he has mostly red wines, but I want him to be able to store the white wine at the same time. I also want it to hold at least 28 bottles. If you have any suggestions on a brand and model, please help me!!
Sorry, I needed to be more clear…I don’t mean wine cooler like the drink. I mean wine cooler as in the appliance.
Thanks anyway!
