I am trying to purchase a wine cooler for my dad for Father’s Day. I have looked at every size, brand, model you can think of, but I’m still not sure which is best. I think he has mostly red wines, but I want him to be able to store the white wine at the same time. I also want it to hold at least 28 bottles. If you have any suggestions on a brand and model, please help me!!
Sorry, I needed to be more clear…I don’t mean wine cooler like the drink. I mean wine cooler as in the appliance.
Thanks anyway!

Im about 21 and recently have been interested in wine. I drink socially with my friends and spend about £10-15 on a bottle of wine. I only like red wines and would like to know some key tips and general information that will help scrub up my wine knowledge. Thanks.

I would pay more now and then, if you think there is a perfect choice. I know it is preference, but… give me suggestions. I prefer something that does not overwhelm me upon sniffing – like not TOO alcoholicy. I gravitate toward the French wines – they just interest me. I don’t tend to like the German wines.
I have always liked various Red Wines and just bought a pair of cool glasses on sale but they are supposed to be best for Pinot. So, i may pose another question for other varieties, but here i specifically hope to find PINOT NOIR wines that i should try – and if they are under then – GREAT!
Thank you very much for your input – i will try as many suggestions as i can afford in search of a favorite.
I SHOULD NOT LEAVE OUT NAPA VALLEY OF COURSE – they are good for Pinot, right? Thanks. Sorry.
Thanks to all my friends for this input! Yeah, if good Pinot costs and up, so be it, cuz i don’t drink that much or that often. I can spring for a bit more. My main concern IS taste. To me it is a waste if you buy a wine for ten bucks less but it tastes like lighter fluid to you. So, all these suggestions are great! Thanks so much.

I am looking for a sweet or semi sweet red wine that I can buy at my local grocery store. I am in the middle of a snowstorm in DC area. I shop at Giant Food or Safeway.
I am making lamb chops and heard that red goes best. I swore off red wines in the past because they are sooooo dry.

My husband and I would like to start drinking a glass of red wine each day for the health benefits that red wine is supposed to provide. However, we haven’t like the taste of any of the red wines we have tried. We aren’t really alcohol drinkers, but can stand the taste of white wine. What would be a good red wine for us to drink that will taste good and still give us the health benefits?
Thanks. What are some examples of sweet red wine varieties?

Hi, in all my life I’ve only found one red wine I like, its called Bor Foras, it’s a brand of Hungarian Cabernet Sauvignon sold by Pieroth party-plan sales agents. I really don’t want, or can afford to buy it the way they sell it (£400 for 36 bottles) Does anyone know of a similar wine that I can buy in a uk shop? Red wines always take vinegary to me, but this one is very fruity, and I really don’t know what to look for on a label of red! I’ve only just got Rose sussed! lol
Many thanks in advance for any help x x
Sorry – taste vinegary!!

I’m the Night Auditor at a restaurant/hotel, and I’ve got to deduct the cost of a bottle of wine from the sales report (because the sob customer walked out w/o paying, grrr…….) but I don’t know whether to deduct this from the sales report of white wines or red wines.
Is "Nel Pino GRS" referring to a white or a red wine?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks to almost all of you. That helps.

I’m looking into being part of a wine club offering 4 bottles a month. I prefer red wines but a red white combo option is nice. Are there any clubs that you can recommend that offer what I want?
