With my experience, when I drink wine (red or white) as well as beer I get a mild form of euphoria and I become a Chatty-Kathy where everyone is my new best friend. When I drink vodka or tequila all I want to do is go to the club to meet new people and dance until the morning hours. When I drink dark liquor (Jim Beam, Johnny Walker, Jack Daniels, ect.) I get a bit grumpy and I want to leave my social setting and watch TV alone in my house and not interact with anyone……….. Even if you don’t experience the exact same mood changes as me with these types of alcohol, does anyone else experience things like this when they drink different types of alcohol? And if this is a common theme among people, does anyone have an explanation of why?

Next summer my fiance and I will be having a private wedding. A month or so later we will be having an informal party at a rented beach pavillion to celebrate.

I’m just trying to plan some things out for this party we’ll be having.
There will be about 70-90 people there (in and out)… My uncle works for Pepsi Co, so we’ll be buying pepsi products.

I was going to do cans but I think that bottles will be less expensive (and we’re on a super tight budget)…

I was thinking:
Regular pepsi, diet pepsi, sierra mist (reg and diet), and Tropicana Twister Orange soda. So thats 5 different kinds of soda

How many bottles of each would you purcahse for 70-90 people??

I was thinking 5 reg pepsi, 5 diet pepsi, 4 sierra mist, 4 diet sierra mist, and 4 tropican twist-orange.

So thats 22 bottles of soda.

I’d also buy a lot of Club soda and flavored club soda and some cocktail juice mixes for making mixed-drinks.
My aunt suggested that I hire a bar tender but thats not really in our budget. We’re going to get a few different bottles of alcohol (Like vodka, rum, tequila), a few cases of beer and some things like hard lemonaid, and a few bottles of wine (red and white)… and once its gone its gone.
I want people to drink and have a good time but I dont want people to get totally wasted… so I’m not going to get too much hard alcohol.
OR,
What do you think about just having 1 mixed drink with hard alcohol (like getting one of those big containers for making margarittas) and then having only beer and wine?
- I wonder if I should do the 2nd option becuase we will be at the beach, and some people I know do not drink responsibly.

Do western people clubbing and partying always? What would you be if living without it? Do you drink a lot? Chivas? Red wine? Tequila?

I’m 8 months pregnant, and last night I got really drunk on tequila, vodka shots, and two bottles of red wine.?
I woke up in the hospital, the doctor said that I had alcohol poisoning and had to have my stomach pumped. I nearly choked to death on my own vomit. He also told me that I was about 30 to 32 weeks pregnant. I had no idea! So basically, I am eight months pregnant, and almost every night for the past two years or so, me and my girlfriends have gone to the bars and clubs after work and have gotten very, very, very drunk. I usually wake up in a strange place with out any recolection of what has happened the night before. I’m not an alcoholic, but I do enjoy drinking and I don’t want to give it up. Now that I know that I am pregnant, I’ll try to stop, but do you think that my baby has been harmed? the doctor said that I have to come back in a week for him to run some tsts, and that i should get an OBGYM or something like that. I don’t know what to do. I only gained about ten pounds, but I asuumed it was because of hte boozr. I know that booze has a lot of calories, so I dont eat during the day so that I can get really drunk at night because sometimes we end up getting fast food at three in the morning do you think that I am a bad person do you think that I have hurt bmy baby? i dont even know who the father is and i have no family and all of my friends are only my drinking buddies and we only drink together and nobody loves me what should i do
I assumed that I didn’t get my period because of my heavy drinking andd stressful life-stile.

While traveling, I was in a city that banned hard liquor sales on Sunday, so my wife and I were served a white wine margarita and a red wine daquiri. They weren’t bad! Anyone have a recipe to share?
I don’t think they merely substituted the wine for the tequila/rum. Call it a pseudo-margarita/daquiri.
