I live in Chattanooga, TN and would like to have a romantic night with my husband tomorrow night. I really don’t know anything about wine except that I know we wouldn’t like something really bitter or dry. We had white wine on our anniversary so maybe some red wine suggestions?
Thank you!

Bogle Merlot is a nice mellow style. Also maybe a Malbec from Argentina. Ask at your local store, they are always happy to help.

For a good white wine try New Zealand Oyster Bay Savignon Blanc or try Iron Horse Leaping Horse Merlot.

Merlots are a good red wine to start with. Shiraz and Cabernet Savignon are a little bitter at times. Just make sure you open the bottle 15 minutes before you pour it. (it’ll have better flavour) So I guess my point is,.. Savignon Blanc is probably the flavour you are looking for in a white wine and Merlot is probably the flavour you might in enjoy in a red wine

If it is available in your area Charles Shaw known as 2 buck chuck. Has about 4 different wines for $1.99 and they are a good as a $10-20 bottle.
