I would suggest either a Pinot Noir or a Zinfandel; such as….

Mark West 2007 California Pinot Noir
Enjoy rich flavors of strawberries and raspberries and a lush texture. A wonderful Pinot Noir at a reasonable price.

    Renwood Grandmere Zinfandel 2004
Amador County is known for its big bold Zinfandel and Renwood makes some of the best examples. This outstanding wine is rich and full bodied

Marachel Foch has a tendency to be a little sweeter. Malbecs are a sweeter wine as well. If you want real sweet, go with berries wines like blackberry, raspberry, loganberry, cherry, pear, etc. You can usually find these in the market.

if your looking for a sweet wine, you could try Ice Wine. There a little expensive but are pretty much like a desert wine. They come in a tall slim bottle.

Basically there made from frozen grapes (unlike normal wines which are made the normal way).

You could also try some Baby Duck… its a little ghetto but sweet as well.

    Hope this helps

Any new world Pinot Noir should suffice. They are great fruit forward wines that don’t have to be coupled with food. King Estates in my fav…
It should set you back about $10 to $12.

    Enjoy!
